The Koorie Heritage Trust Cultural Centre aims to protect, preserve and promote the living culture of the Indigenous people of south-eastern Australia.
Project 1: Mission Voices
designIT worked with the Trust to design and build this extraordinary project and, after 2 years work, it was launched in August 2004.
This remarkable website is a unique and rare collection of history and stories.  The Koorie Hertiage Trust collected stories from the Elders in Victoria to give a fresh new perspective of this part of our history and culture. Hear the Elders tell of their lives on missions and reserves in Victoria. They are places full of contradictions.
Project 2:  Koorie Heritage Trust
The Koorie Heritage Trust website was designed with modernity, user ease, cultural flavour and individualism in mind. designIT built the site with eZpublish Content Management System so the Trust can update its own information.
As the Trust's Cultural Centre has exhibitions that vary throughout the year the site becomes critical to the public face of the Centre.
