The Gradlink website was first re-designed by the designIT team in 1999 to coincide with a national marketing campaign to increase student registrations. The key objective was to produce a new design and navigation system that would make the site easier to use. Early reports showed daily registrations doubled.
It then wasn’t until 2oo2 that a re-design was required. After implementing user surveys and undergoing months of analysis, designIT and GCCA defined the business requirements.
designIT configured the Content Management System and successfully created a new visual interface to suit the new functionality requirements.
Not long after first re-designing the Gradlink website for the GCCA in 1999, we were asked to redesign the GCCA homepage in line with their existing print designs and the Gradlink look and feel.
gradlink is the brand name given to resources produced by the gradlink division of GCCA staff, including the publications, video cassettes and websites. In 2002 we started to work with them because they needed a redesign. We started with a user survey and defining the business requirements. After many months of analysis the resultant system architecture and the functional specifications were then created. designIT configured the Content Management System and created a new visual interface design to suit the new website functionality requirements.
