Centre for Design at RMIT
The Centre for Design promotes environmental sustainability through a directed program of research, consulting, professional development and knowledge sharing.
Project 1: Centre for Design
In 2003 designIT re-designed the Centre for Design site to make it relevant to the eco design industry locally and internationally. The new logo and design brought them racing to the future with vigor and dynamism.
Built using Content Management System, eZv publish, the Centre for Design site is now a repository for the publication of their work.
Project 2: EcoSpecifier
Also developed using eZ publish, the EcoSpecifier website was launched with a new look and feel to display a database of materials.
EcoSpecifier's aim is to help create a more sustainable physical environment by increasing the use of environmentally preferable materials.
Project 3: onSITE
This was the first site designIT built for the Centre.
One of the primary aims of onSITE is to encourage some competitive spirit by showcasing the innovative waste minimisation work of individual builders. Another important aim of onSITE is to consolidate the diverse range of C & D waste minimisation initiatives into one user-friendly and comprehensive resource.
