This workshop with give you an understanding of you need to set up and extend advanced eZ publish sites. You can see how to set up and configure an eZ publish site, and be shown how to add new functionality (further develop) within eZ publish using your own extensions. The complexity of the extensions you create is limited only by your knowledge of PHP. In this workshop, we will explain the general concepts and admin interface of eZ publish.

This is a technical course, primarily aimed at programmers, power users and administrators with some programming knowledge (preferably PHP).

Installing and configuring eZ publish sites

See how to configure and customise your eZ publish site to fit your unique needs, by configuring databases, using sections and applying site access settings to manage several domains on the same eZ publish kernel.

Templates

Our extensive training in the use and customization of templates will enable you to set up the design you want, including lists and menus.

Data types

Learn how to create custom validating data types for the type of information you need to present on your site.

Workflow events

See how you can develop your skills and extend the workflow system to create workflows that suit your needs.

Template operators

Be shown how you create your own template operator/function for simple and advanced template customization.
